Thank you for taking the time to inquire about being part of the team!
First things first you do not have to own, play or know anything about pianos to do this job.
The job of the piano tuner is very specific. Fewer and fewer people today are playing and owning pianos but there's one place that always has pianos and that where you come in. Churches...
Nearly every church has a piano or two or five lol.
The way it works is new hires are assigned a territory by city or county and it's your job to research that area and find all the Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, Lutheran and Pentecostal churches. (Jewish Synagogues and Catholic Churches typically don't have pianos.)
Take all that information and load it into a data base. Send that information to the main office and those churches will be emailed an introduction and asked if they would like to have someone contact them about having their pianos tuned. It will be your responsibility to set appointments with interested churches and cultivate the churches that don't respond to our outreach.

What's the Pay?
Building the data base is simple and is just research and data entry. For each church added to the data base it's $1.00.
For each piano scheduled in the church it's $25.00
For each piano completed in the church it's an additional $25.00
Example; A typical church has a piano in the sanctuary and one in the choir room. You find the church and add them to the data base.
$1.00
Emails are sent and you follow up with a date to have the pianos tuned
$25.00 +$25.00
When the pianos are tuned on that date you receive another
$25.00 +25.00
That's $101.00 for one church...
A lot of times churches also have pianos in the fellowship hall, childrens chapel, pastors office etc.
